Integrated Neural Interfacing (Utah is good for something)

This site has info on Digital Neuro-Programming for prosthetics.

My bet is that the Mormons were the university's first creation....

"The integrated neural interface program centered at the University of Utah is focused on developing chronically implantable, wireless, integrated neural interface devices based on the Utah electrode array. These devices may be used in the central or pheripherial nervous system for neural signal recording and/or stimulation to help people with motor or sensory impairments. The highly interdisiplanary team consists of world renowned experts from institutes in US and Europe. Some of the collaborators in this program are the Neurosciences program at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, Calfornia, USA; Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration, Berlin, Germany; Fraunhofer Institute of Biomedical Engineering, St. Ingbert, Germany. "

Next time you see a pair of those C-3PO's with neck ties, get your HERF gun out and see what happens!

Monday

I ran across these ready made B-Wave goggles online. They are preset to do 3 - 11Hz and have a timer (Up to 60 minutes). I wish the timer had a setting so you could set it to turn ON at a certain time. This would be helpful in having the glasses stimulate your brain after you have gone to sleep.

The settings are nice and dreamy. The fit and finish on these glasses are top notch! Much nicer than most and a fraction of the cost!

Tuesday

Here are two schematics for LED glasses that I hadn't seen before:

One could edit BMaster.bas to utilize this setup easy.

Wednesday

Easy DIY Electrodes

I stumbled upon an article on producing cheap DIY electrodes. These ideas can be used in order to make an interface band for a CES device.

The site also has allot of other intersting/useful content for the wetware hacker!
