Some of you that have been in the scene for awhile with interests in Radionics AS business have more than likely come across Josh Warren directly via his Wishing Machine Documentary or indirectly through other channels of information that don't directly bare his name (Uncle Chuckie, "Doctor" Mulder, Vrilock).
My particular discomfort with Josh is his presentation, his indirect dealings in the community aside from his rather obtuse and carnival-esque public conduct under the guise of 'researcher and academic'.
The sub-par quality and lack of practical knowledge of Radionics that is demonstrated in his products is quite alarming. If any one is a sole contributing factors to holding Radionics from legitimacy in the new era it would be him. I feel that Josh is cognizant of this which is why he never publicly claims to be the builder of any of his items and has a pretty shrouded interaction in the community.
(News Flash Josh) Distancing yourself from the production of your wishing machines and prayers boards aren't protecting your credibility. Your amateurish behavior and shameless self promotion to outlets that wish to turn our science into a mockery is hurting the validity of a community that hasn't deserved to have you as it's self-assumed spokesperson.
My message to any one new to the scene who serious about the true fiber of Radionics as it developed at the turn of the century and was honed throughout the late 20th:
There are those who will shamelessly pitch to the world at large, Radionics AS business. They are hollow and tacky, they will only attract the gullible while painting a target on the rest of us who would otherwise change the world if we weren't marginalized by the sea of reckless morons.
I write all this after a long year of extreme inactivity in the Radionics community. This is a year that saw a return of Charels Cosimano after a pretty lengthy social hiatus. He had a sporadic post here and there but as a whole had limited his online interaction to typical gloom shaking and factional squabbling.
Chuck despite his cartoonish persona wrote some very prolific texts on Radionics from the label of Psionics. A term he didn't create but surely popularized. He was always very forthright with his intent on commercializing Psionics to the scale as retail Oiji boards and Magic 8 Balls.
Even this as the case, it befalls Chuck that this is the avenue he chooses to achieve his ends. Between Chuck, Josh and Josh's several online personas I don't feel they will be able to achieve success any more legitimate than their current high risk sideshow offering.
In case anhy one is wondering, Josh doesn't only burn for Radionics, his true passion is just spotlight as proof here:
